How I write...

My writing tends to follow a simple pattern.

I sprint for the finish till I am exhausted

Then i sit back and stare at the flags

That are still so far away

Then I linger and avoid and procrastinate

I look at the characters and their decisions

I weigh and test them till i realise they aren't real,

At least not yet.

I watch them live their lives within my imagination

I hear their words, and see their deeds

and after what seems like an age and a day

I discover what is true at last

Then I sprint for the finish till I am exhausted

Then i sit back and stare at the flags

Then it all repeats until i am satisfied

I hope.
